Hosta 'Guacamole'

PLANTAIN LILY Extremely useful and long-lived plants, growing best in deep, moisture retentive soil containing humus. Hosta ‘Guacamole’- A large sized Hosta.  Extremely fragrant with a pleasing sweet perfume, which wafts through the garden from near white flowers in late summer.  Leaves are quite attractive in their own right, with chartreuse green centers surrounded by faded shades of dark green margins.  Foliage has decent thickness giving it some degree of slug resistance.  H. ‘Guacamole’ is bold enough to stand out as a focal point.  Great when used around patios and other outdoor entertaining areas where the sweet fragrance can be enjoyed.  A sport of H. ‘Fragrant Bouquet’.
