Coreopsis verticillata 'Zagreb'

TICKSEED Tolerant of various soils with good drainage. Relatively drought tolerant, they are easy to grow. All are long blooming. Plants can be cut or sheared back by 1/4 to 1/3 or more in midsummer to promote more bloom (massive dead-heading in effect).C. ‘Zagreb’- A verticillata type Coreopsis with a shorter habit of 12-18 inches tall and deep yellow flowers.  Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’ is sometimes confused with the straight species Coreopsis verticillata, which has a similar flower color but a much taller habit of 18-36 inches.
