TICKSEED Tolerant of various soils with good drainage. Relatively drought tolerant, they are easy to grow. When dead-heading the grandiflora kinds, cut spent flowers and flower stalks to improve appearance. All are long blooming. C. ‘Jethro Tull’ – A hybrid Coreopsis with a habit similar to C. grandiflora types. Numerous flowers with wide, fluted, golden yellow petals form on compact plants. A good strong grower, and although not necessary for rebloom, plants do respond well to being cut back.
