Great when used as a woodland plant in a naturalized setting among trees or spring bulbs. Prefers humus loam garden soils. Leaves are dark green, large and rounded, increasing in size as the season progresses. The foliage is neat, clean, and pleasing to the eye, not to forget the accent of familiar tiny blue flowers centered with bright yellow eyes.
