ORPHANAGE PLANT, JAPANESE ASTER Strong stems are upright with an open branch habit forming an almost spherically shaped plant. Resists pests and disease. Long bloomer, at least 12 weeks, with numerous little semi-double daisylike flowers that fade to light pink in early autumn. Does well in bright shade of open woodlands, and even better in full sun. Thrives in average fertility and moisture, but tolerates damp soil quite well.
